Can you coil a pot?

Step 1

Roll out your base and some coils of clay. Keep the coils as thick as your finger.

Step 2

Place the coil along the edge of the base.

Step 3

Join the coil well to the base so the join is invisible. Repeat until the pot is as big as you want.

Step 4

Have fun with your clay and see what happens when you squeeze, roll, twist and bend.
